If you’re planning on taking a vacation and are currently looking into villa options for your friends and family, then you should also be thinking about what you’d like your villa to include. Every villa has its own set of amenities, each of which is put in place with the vacationer in mind. If you’re uncertain which amenities would normally apply in a villa, then take a look at the list of suggestions below. These amenities are ones that most vacationers like to have in their villa and by making sure that they are in yours, too, you can have a better vacationing experience.

A Pool

Even if you’ve decided to choose a Tortola villa rental that is right by the beach, chances are you still may want some privacy. With a Tortola villa rental or other villa rental, you can choose an amenity that includes a pool in order to improve your level of comfort. The pool can be used whenever, you can hold events near the pool, and you can enjoy some solitude and time to yourself as you bask in the sun. However, if you aren’t a fan of pools, then you shouldn’t waste the expense in such an amenity.

Kitchen and Dining Area

Another amenity that you may want to ensure your villa has is a kitchen and dining area. Of course, you could eat out and enjoy the many restaurants in the area, but if you’re staying a long time, then a villa with a kitchen will serve you well. You can shop at the local markets, take the food home, and prepare yourself and your friends or family an excellent and comforting meal. In addition, a kitchen can come in handy, especially if you have dietary concerns that preclude you from dining at restaurants.

A Central Air System

Finally, while you certainly may have trouble finding a villa with air conditioning, especially, if you are visiting a tropical destination, you should at least make sure that there is some form of ventilation. For example, your best bet is to look for a villa with ceiling fans throughout the house. Ceiling fans are not as environmentally dangerous as air conditioning and they are very refreshing, especially in the evening. If you’re travelling in the winter, then at least make sure that the villa is also equipped with a fireplace to keep you warm at night.
